Certification in gastroenterology nursing recognizes professional achievements and promotes excellence in this specialty. The major goal of the program is to establish a high standard of competency among healthcare professionals employed in gastroenterology and endoscopy nursing. - Certification: 2 @ $350 EACH
- Re-certification: 2 @ $250 EACH
- Sharon Worzalla Memorial Scholarship (This scholarship is currently being revised, more info and a simplified application process will be 'rolled out' by the end of 2009.)
- GI Nurses Day: 4 Quadrants throughout Wisconsin to $750 each

The Board Position Descriptions were updated in early 2001 to reflect and conform as closely as possible to SGNA’s board positions and just recently revised November 1, 2008. Each year different Board positions come up for election. Won’t you consider nominating someone or, perhaps yourself, for a position this year? WSGNA needs YOU! Read (PDF or MS Word) an article on the 'Essence of Volunteer Leadership' by WSNGA Member Peggy Gauthier and say "YES, I CAN!".
